NEET passout rate records marginal rise

A total of 8.70 lakh candidates cracked NEET 2021, recording a 1.09 percent rise in the number of successful candidates compared with the previous year's figures. This was announced by the National Testing Agency which conducted NEET.

NEET is a three-hour long exam of 720 marks divided into 3 sections for granting admission to 83,075 medical, 26,949 dental, 52,720 AYUSH, and 603 veterinary seats in India. Aspirants securing the NEET 2021 qualifying cut-off will be called for participating in the NEET 2021 counselling program to be held shortly.

This year, 16,14777 candidates had registered for the exam, 15,44275 wrote the test, and 70,502 chose not to appear.

National Testing Agency has published the qualifying cutoff marks. Only candidates who score this are deemed qualified for admissions. The qualifying NEET cutoff is also what is known as the passing marks for NEET 2021 However, the NEET passing marks differs for each category.
